What is a Splash and Dash

A Splash and Dash is a fun and fast-growing sport that combines running and swimming, and focused on focused on fun and participation over competition. OTC wants to introduce kids and families to how great the multisport life is through this USAT sanctioned event!

Course lengths vary by age (see course descriptions below).  This celebrates participation!  Timing will be unofficial, and everyone wins.

We will have volunteers around supporting safety and fun, making sure kid take breaks mid-swim if need -- and that they catch their breath before heading on towards the run course. Every competitor will be celebrated as they cross the finish line and will go home with an official USAT Splash and Dash medal. Come on out and join the fun!

Back for 2026: Competitive waves 

The event is growing, and in 2024 we became the anchor event for the USAT Northern California Youth State Series, so we added competitive waves to the event for 2025.
